The City of Wausau will hold a second Community Engagement Session on Thursday, May 28, at 5:30 p.m., to provide an overview of survey results along with a feasibility analysis of the top five non-industrial land use preferences identified by neighborhood residents. Meeting #1 Information - Held January 29, 5:30 p.m.
The City of Wausau held a Community Engagement Session on Thursday, January 29, at 5:30 p.m., to collect public input about non-industrial land use options for the 6.77-acre property located at 1300 Cleveland Avenue. The purpose of the meeting was to collect public input and preferences on non-industrial land use options for the site. City staff offered a brief overview of the neighborhood, site background, and potential land use choices. Following this, participants had the opportunity to express their non-industrial land use preferences and provide input.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the public survey! The survey closed on Sunday, March 1, and results were presented to the Economic Development Committee at their regular meeting on Monday, April 6.
