CDBG Reports

Citizen Participation

HUD requires municipalities receiving CDBG funds to follow a citizen participation plan that encourages input, particularly from low- and moderate-income residents and impacted areas.

The City welcomes public participation in the annual Action Plan, Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), and all CDBG-related public hearings. Two public hearings are held annually to gather input on current, past, and proposed CDBG projects, with additional hearings scheduled as needed. Dates and venues may change. Meetings are not held virtually nor available on Wausau's YouTube channel.

Public Meeting Schedule

The types and timing of meetings are determined by local and federal requirements. Dates and times are subject to change. Below is the proposed schedule for the 2027 CDBG Program Year.

Ongoing Individual Meetings: Available anytime to learn about the CDBG program, ask questions, discuss ideas and explore potential projects. To request an appointment, please call 715-261-6680 or email wausaudevelopment@wausauwi.gov.
